The International Monetary Fund cut its global growth forecast for this and next year, referring to the effects of the so-called «Brexit».

The IMF said that the decision to leave the UK ESvyzvalo increased political uncertainty and is likely to impact on investment. Fund downgraded global economic growth forecast by 0.1 percentage points for 2016 and 2017, to 3.1% and 3.4% respectively.

"This decision reflects the expected macroeconomic effects of a significant increase in uncertainty, including on the political front, - stated in the updated forecast of IMF. - This uncertainty is expected to impact on confidence and investment, as well as the financial conditions and market sentiment. "

Downgraded, IMF economists have pointed out that the consequences of «Brexit» most will feel the developed European countries, and to a lesser extent the United States and China. According to Fund projections, this year the US economy will expand by 2.2%, not 2.4% as previously assumed.

British economic growth forecast was lowered by 0.2 percentage points this year and 0.9% next year to 1.7% and 1.3% respectively. The IMF has improved the economic outlook for Germany: in 2016 the country's GDP is expected to increase by 1.6%, higher than the prior forecast of 0.1%. As for 2017, the forecast was reduced by 0.4 percentage points to 1.2%.

The IMF also warned: "Protracted negotiations on new UK and EU co-operation conditions can have a negative impact on global growth."

A more detailed report on the possible impact of «Brexit» will be published in October.

For the emerging economies of the country out of the EU does not pose any serious risk, so in general no change in the forecast for this group of countries is foreseen.
